The participants with NAFLD had overall a higher total increase in VLDL triglycerides from both diets. In the controls who had just low normal levels of liver fat, their increase in total VLDL primarily was evident in the form of VLDL1. And then for participants withNAFLD, it was primarily in response to high sugar VLDL2. So there are likely subsets of the population that are potentially more vulnerable to the cardio metabolic consequences of a high sugar intake as it relates to increased V LDL2 synthesis from bad high of a sugar.
