Calcium and Bone Stress Injuries

There is a bit of research that I won't go into in a great deal today, but around maybe having some calcium before going out for those bigger sort of intense sessions. The Australian cricket team, we're very aware of that because bone stress injuries in their fast bowlers is a big concern as well. With the work I do with the Super League triathlon series, one of the prominent athletes there actually shared recently that something that their national body is suggesting, the health center is to dose up on calcium before super intense sessions. So there really could be something in that.
