The Effects of Lifestyle Modification on Testosterone Levels

Testosterone in the short term goes up following exercise for about 30 minutes. This coincides with a down regulation of androgen receptors, which the testosterone has to bind to on the tissue that it's affecting. Over the next few hours, up to about three hours, testosterone tends to return back to basal levels. And so you see this sort of inverse relationship between T levels, testosterone levels, and androgen receptor content and sensitivity. It's like, yes, testosterone goes up directly after exercise. But when you actually look at how those folks do over time, so how much muscle mass do they gain, how much muscular strength do they gain in response to exercise? There doesn't seem to be
