COVID - What Gives You the Confidence?
The immunocompromised population is still highly vulnerable to COVID. There are roughly 25 million Americans in this category. Small molecule drugs, generally a lot more toxic than anybody's and so you can't really take them on a daily basis. So what's left are neutralizing antibodies that could be used as a pre-exposure prophylactic. That's what we have. We have a cocktail of two antibodies that has a long half life can last in circulation up to six months. And there's nothing else out there right now.
