We're Building a Second Version of Ourself Online
I feel like we've sort of been programmed weirdly in a way to think about memories in that way nowadays. I don't think that that's the core reason why people are snapping photos of every moment and taking videos of every moment. We're creating this sort of ideal version of ourselves that lives on the internet permanently, you know? If you really think about it, we're kind of building a second version of ourselves online, just like in Avatar, like a digital version of ourselves.
