How I Moved to the US to Do My PhD
Kavita is an occupational therapist in Mumbai, India. She moved to the US for her PhD at New York University and met Dr. Chrissie Pan on a one-on-one meeting. After reading up about different like mentors she wanted to explore strength based interventions but didn't know what they looked like. Her mentor helped her map out how it would work so that she could start working with other OTs who were doing this type of intervention. Kavita's paper will be published later this year by The Journal of Occupational Therapy.
