Prop 12 and the California Pork Industry

The National Pork Producers Council and the American Farm Bureau Federation filed a lawsuit in federal court. The pork industry argued that prop 12 violates the Dorman Commerce Clause. California imports 99% of its pork from outside of the state, but Californians eat about 13% of the pork raised within the United States.
