The Problem With Backtracking Counterfactuals

God's knowledge or even God's promises with something like a divine decree, a sort of unilateral decree that something will happen in the future. What's an issue here are so-called backtracking counterfactuals where if I were to do something then something about the past would have been different. So I just don't think that temporal necessity amounts to very much.
