Iowa, South Carolina and Tennessee were the first states to pass anti-tipping laws. Georgia was next; by 1926 they had all been repealed. The tipping abolitionist movement is not to be confused with the abolition of slavery. It's a top down condemnation on these people who are trying to survive.
