How has it been to have the underground railroad be a television show that people watch now instead of a book that people read? It wasyo a, from the beginning, it was like, my book is my book, and whatever the t show it will be is separate. And i think that's what you have to do when you give up your work for adaptation. But four years ago, when i started talking to barry jenkins, a director, all his ideas of how to solve the problem of adaptation go great. So i felt it was in good hands.
