Gaelic Ireland - The Nine Years War

In late antiquity, in the early middle ages, gaelic island had a clan bay. Society didn't really use money. Was pagan to begin with, although christianity took hold throughout the first millennia. But then as we arrive in the ninth century, so too arrived the vikings. Sure enough, viking culture influenced gaelic culture. In 15 29, the tudor conquest of ireland began. There was resistance from areas that were well and truly independent,. rebellion from within areas controlled by the english. Even after Henry's henry's conquest,  it wasn't as smooth as he would have liked it.
