Is There a Consistent Underlying Perspective in Choosing Topics?

I like to think that really there's a consistent underlying perspective being expressed across them all. I'm just kind of working out the consequences of this kind of revised logical empiricism in many different domains. So that's how I sort of reassure myself that I'm not someone who's just doing random things. An old friend and mentor of mine from my graduate school, Danielle Wenner, she once described my method of picking research questions as, ooh, shiny. And, you know, on my worst days, I fear that there's nothing more than o oh, shiny to it. It means I have a place to start wherever I go.
