The book does a pretty good job of giving you either what Jack is responsible for or what James Dylan is responsible for when we're in like a chase sequence. I really liked that it ended with hand to hand stuff at a scale that the book hadn't seen before. You do start to appreciate in those fights, it isn't and this is our sea of thieves experience. And so then it's interesting to read the first novel in this series that are defined by the captain and the doctor and there being this third guy in this book that kind of tied them together is kind of neat.
