Starbuck's chief executive says the company is looking at all its options, including hiring a new ceo. CEO: "The world doesn't have to be so binary in black and white" The board of directors has appointed Melody hopson as an interim boss until it can find a permanent replacement for John sholtz who will take over by the fall. Sholtz was captain johnson's successor when he stepped down earlier this year after more than 20 years on the job.
