Every company is different. We have to go to levels. And so if you do go down the individual contributor track, that's where staff developers come in. So that's a level above senior and staff developers are the exact same level as a development manager. They get paid with the same compensation framework. But they are expected to have the same scope of impact, albeit in very different ways.
