I think this book does often leaves me with a sense of I suppose a kind of you know we've captured with the analysis how things work and the question is always could things work differently because there are definite downsides to it. The English tend to think that because there'll always be an heir that there will always be continuity whereas what I try and say is no that there's that means that anyone can do this anyone's eligible so if anyone is eligible maybe you could probably say the house is not the thing anymore. There might be more continuity there might be more discontinuity and that might be good rather than trying to see continuity all the time like in contemporary period dramas down to Navi or
