Isaac Chotner is an amazing interviewer and he has his ability to like do these interviews where he does not shy away from the question. He gets an interview with somebody within a week or two of them becoming the main character for whatever the dust up is. So what emerged and what is emerging as this Chotner interview comes out is that like the research or scholarship behind this decision making was pretty ad hoc.
