The Power of Words
Words penetrate our emotions and reality in a way that most other things can't. Even though it's the exact same word, it means something so different to us then to another group of people. And i guess what's interesting now is we've seen changes in the way in which our culture responds to certain types of words. The old adage, sticks and stones will break my bones, but words will never hurt me has actually translated more towards 'words can hurt me lot'
