The Problem With Free Will
Dostoevsky argues that freedom is a good thing, but to what extent can it be twisted in a negative way? He asks: What's the point of freedom if you don't act on it? And maybe it's that act of embodying freedom which is leading to even more problems. The idea of will is tied on to his idea of atheism and theism. Are we meant to follow God's will or man's will?
