You only have two other choices. One is to own cash, which is a complete disaster. The third is to add tremendous complexity to your life. So you spend the first 20 years of being rich accumulating all this stuff. And then you'll spend the next 20 years trying to get out of one thing after another and simplify your life. You don't expect that you're going to go to the store and pay less for a coke or less for a candy bar 30 years from now than to day now.
