The Future of Pediatric Hospital Admission

RSV bronchiolitis is the most common reason for a child under one to be admitted to hospital in Canada. The past winter of 2020-2021 has been unlike anything any of us have seen before in terms of the absence of RSV. In February 2021, Western Australia published a letter showing that their average RSV epidemic looks like ours. They suggest that for RSV this outbreak might reach its peak in the winter of 2021-22 in North America.
