Benedict Evans: There's nothing more frustrating than talking to a system whose entire purpose is to understand your speech and have it not understand you. He says there are two levels of understanding in voice assistants, one for simple speech recognition and the other for what they can do beyond that. "It felt like Alexa didn't like Liza and Liza certainly didn't like Alexa," he said about his wife Liza Kendridge who was on the show earlier this week.
