Fye Healthcare Number

The Fye healthcare number is related to the safe withdrawal rate that we commonly think about when we're talking about spending in general in retirement. People take their annual expenses and then they will multiply it by something like 25, which is associated with a 4% safe withdrawal rate. That kind of goes all the way back to the Trinity study if this stuff is new to you. It builds off of that safe withdrawal rate approach, but it handles the fact that healthcare does not scale in the same way that the rest of your expenses tend to scale over your life.
