Growing Up With a Scarcity Mindset
I grew up with a scarcity mindset and it's definitely still present. I'm trying to focus on having more of an abundance mindset. My dad was injured so he couldn't work and was studying but spent a lot of time just you know unable to move in bed. So my mum had to look after us two kids and him and work jobs that worked around being able to do the school runs or all of that sort of stuff. We didn't have much money and I don't feel like I missed out on things but I was aware that the stuff that I had wasn't as good as the stuff that the kids in school had. And people not wanting to swap the packet of crisps
