Phoebe Bridgers and Lucy Dakers
There's a kind of hope and optimism in their collective work that is sometimes hard to find in their solo work. Lucy Dakers is actually not someone I've thought about much on her own but she's a regular regular submit tea to our summer mega playlist over the last three or four years. Phoebe Bridgers' songwriting does the thing I love of like taught surprising poetry and interesting word play which makes you feel differently about the world and see it differently regularly. And here there's this sense of an oasis and a celebration.
