For a long time people had religion as a way to understand that all right i'm here for this reason and this is what's going to happen after yeah now we don't have that because we've said religion is no good. Kanye was trying to do was he was trying to make religion cool in a way, says Jay-Z. He thinks the most important thing is being able to understand that person from across the world. We need to democratize art by using platforms like youtube tiktok uses those platforms to encourage millions of artists to create it doesn't make sense but I think there will be a rise of casual artists who can tell their stories even if it's not your job
