The Importance of Stakeholders in Politics

Eric Liu: The way in which we're sort of being pushed that way is like what's happening in China with the social credit system. They need racism in order to implement there, and they also started to change some of the vocabulary. You see this a lot where they change, for instance, it's not about return on investment and shareholders. What is a stakeholder? And they broaden the definition of stakeholders so that they can implement their ESG and DEI type of initiatives. It's all predicated on scaring us so that we will give power effectively to these elected and unelected leaders.
