How to Stop a Panic Attack When You Relax

When you relax, the parts of your brain that do the thinking have more capacity. This doesn't happen all the time, because if you have a lot of stress reactivity, this can actually make it worse. For example, if there's a lot of agitation, sometimes what you need to do is to calm it down by going for a walk.
