Our brains were Developed quite a while ago and this digital world is quite new. Our brain isn't designed to have information constantly coming to us In fact, our brain perceives anything that comes to us as a potential threat. Many of us would have to acknowledge that we have an unhealthy dependence You know our phones Pings and we salivate like Pavlov's dogs. I'm worried that our digital habits are encroaching on some of those basic needs so we need rest we need to sleepWe need to be physically active We need exposure to sunlight And our digital behaviors have all Significantly shaped and influenced each of those biological needs in some way.
