Changelogs, You Don't Know How Long Ago Something Was.

GP: There's a bunch of crazy, crazy things out there. I looked around at tools when I wanted to get people to make better changelogs. One called Town Cryer from the Twisted Project solved the problem that a lot of changelogs have. GP: To keep a changelog just says, look, you should write this stuff. And here's how you should write it. It's not a tool. It's just encouraging people to do a good job.
