How to Bridge a Direct Oral Anticoagulant

If you're bridging with either of these, generally you're going to shoot for a higher INR like an INR 3 and then you would stop your by-valorudin or your gatcher band. Usually if you've interrupted a direct oral anticoagulant, you're not going to need to bridge because again, they will take effect very quickly once you restart them. For high risk procedures you would wait at least two to three days to restart.
