The Basics of Polymer Chemistry

A polymer is a large molecule with repeating small groups. Polymers occur naturally and we can synthesize them in the lab. In chemistry, there are special arrangements of molecules known as functional groups. And usually what happens in a reaction is one of those functional groups reacts with anotherfunctional group to make and or break bonds.
