The Role of Race in the Diaspora
In Armenia, mixed race or mixed heritage Armenians are less sensational than in the diaspora because race isn't the thing. But so it's interesting to kind of go from context to context and think about what the relevant markers are. I was aware of the American constructive race, because again, it's spread all over the world. But being black in America is a very different thing than being black in other places.
