The Truth of Art

Great works of art have the ability to shift a person's subjectivity and broaden it. Economics is only one area that art has the potential for liberation. For example, when n w a comes out with the song f the police in 19 88, that song is an opportune for the average american to see a piece of reality they don't necessarily have to see every day. Art may be a tool for liberation, but it's not as effective as a hammer at hammering in a nail.
