epigenetic marks can influenced by the mother's experiences, by harmones coming from the mother. So ther are interesting intergenerational possibilities that are not necessarily the inheritance of the marks themselves but sort of these intergenerational facts that are influencing those marks in the next generation. This is now, i think, very convincingly demonstrated in species such as mice and humans.
