Coffee Shops Are Not About Being Efficient

Writers under deadline go to the cafe with an understanding they can't leave until their work is done. Staff hold them accountable with three levels of progress checks, mild, normal and hard. Customers who choose mild only get a verbal confirmation when they pay. Those who choose normal get a progress check every hour. And for those who decide to go hard in themselves, they will feel silent pressure from staff  who often stand behind them.
