"I had horrific stage fright in front of other kids," he says. "It was like dead as a doorknob and I'd go in there for an hour to two hours singing whatever the hit songs are that were out at the time" He recalls his drama teacher Dixie Jordan, who's now passed, telling him if you want to get into acting or theater entertainment 'you 100% have the DNA to do it'
