The Importance of Temporal Resolution in Satellite Imagery
We get very hung up on spatial resolution but I think it's much more helpful to think about this in several dimensions. So how often can I see the same place on the earth per week per day and then there's spectral resolution. The ability to see something far more often may allow you to accept lower spatial resolution. If it's good enough, I may not need a very high spatial resolution but if I have a high temporal resolution I can discern the answer that I need for the mission application I have.
