The Power of Semicolons
The books are about how power works in America and the effect of power on the powerless. Robert Carrow feels, and I think my father agrees, that unless the sentences are as compelling and riveting as possible, no one will read them. He says you have a very different idea about semicolons than he does. That is hilarious. But seriously, a semicolon war maybe explains why it takes seven years or so for Robert Carrow to actually even finish a volume.
