God Changed His Mind
In the language of jesus, he is a father who responds when his children pray. He would be less of a god if he were not open to good ideas from free, creative beings that he's in relationship with. The theologian karl bart called this the holy mutability of god. Prayer can move god's heart, and with it, move god's hand. And you play a key role in human history.
