Jason Scott: My 7 year old son watches hours of people cracking packs of Pokemon cards on YouTube kits And the outcome of that is he's constantly nagging me to buy Pokemon merchandise. To me, that's social commerce, like the fact that he's not clicking a button in the YouTube video to buy the cards Is not the definition of social commerce, to me social commerce is he's discovering and increasing his desire for a bunch of products through consumption of social media.
