Is There a Leveling Ramp in Difficulty?
The game adds new mechanics and keeps things interesting with each level being his own thing. But overall, the gold and ace medals seem to expect the same amount of mastery from the player no matter the chapter. Those earlier levels might even be harder to optimize because there aren't as many tools. Was having a constant difficulty a deliberate choice or is it more a consequence of the different systems that makes interesting levels?
