The Importance of Probability in Fitness
In this section of the book, Kahneman is really adamant that, no, listen, statistics just show that this is a result of luck. Like if you're a 47% shooter, you're a47% shooter and the outcomes of any individual shot or any series of shots are based on plugging your 47% in with luck. He actually found that the hot hand difference went from effectively zero to about 12%. Okay. And so, and that I found very persuasive and, and there, there were some other issues here in terms of how he explained it.
