Stephanie: Do we really think people are consuming more cultural content locally to day? felix: There is this ground swell of more nationalistic or more provincial thinking. The battle ground inside the united states doesn't show up in entertainment, and it's produced for a global audience. But i don't think it says anything about the felt distance to the west in much of the rest of the world.
