How to Stay Away From Hot Topics
I think I usually become interested in a technology when it becomes a mainstream, because I like my work to have the possibility to be accessible to just anybody off the street. But then, yeah, when things are too hot, I can't process them and so I try to stay away from hot topics until they cool down. It took me 20 years to finally sit down and listen to radiohead but that's safe now. You know, all right, like, I've got mental space. It's kind of, they're not so hot anymore. So that's like kind of how I operate.
