I actually managed to lose money shorting the biggest housing bubble in American history. But what you learn is you got to learn about your options, Greeks, second order derivatives. It's not just about the delta movement. You know, what's your baga? What's your data? What's my gamma? And that forces you to learn those things through an incredibly painful process.
