Functional Programming

I do think that the mathematical influence on functional programming is hindering ease of use. It does actually make it harder for people sometimes to get, if you're used to the classic way of calling a function with all the parameters in parentheses. I don't actually like curly braces. I think they were just a way to space. But people now design languages with curly braces just so they can be compatible so they don't look scary to people.
