The Importance of the Promise of the Father

In Acts 1 verse 8, Jesus said this to them. They're asking about the kingdom. He goes, it's not for you to know the times or seasons that the Father has fixed by His own authority. In speaking of the promise of the Father, you will receive what? Power. And so the core, you got to get this. There is a desire in the heart of your Father to baptize you in the Holy Spirit. We're going to look at why that is. This is not some secondary side issue in Christianity. This is core to the heart of God.
