Is It a Good Idea to Impose Sanctions on Russian Banks?
The question is, if ta conflict drags on, can they deter russia from staying in ukrane, or can they push it towards compromise? And what we've seen so far is a pretty hefty package, particuarly from the americans. I i think all of this is going to have a big impact on russia's economy, there's no doubt about that. But like with many things in deterrence, once the thing that your deterring happens andyou sort of slam the costs on, it's sort of a little bit late, and you're doing it for future credibility. Really trying to change behaviour rather than stop it from happening in first place.
