Sally Kohn: I myself had an experience of being gaslighted by my ex-husband and it was not a major hurt for me. It was actually a moment of fascination because I was writing about gaslighting. She says she began to see women who were strong and capable and decisive falling apart at the hands or involved with men who were certain and confident. And so that sometime later, here we are to come back to your work, which is that individual manipulation that happened for you and for other people who are seduced and manipulated into thinking through the eyes of the cult leader.
